Heathen question on gay marriage?
Q. Should we perform those rites? Without a wife or a husband, I don't know how a proper wedding rite following the heathen traditions and customs would be. I'd, of course, bless them, but I can't feel qualified for religiously marrying them. (I favor bearing witness to their oaths to each other and toasting them, and blessing their adoption of each kid they decide to take care of, but I can't see how to perform more than a wedding-lite :P). Is there a proper way to perform a heathen marriage between people of the same sex, or am I correct in blessing them but not performing the rite? (I dislike inventing rites) To my first answerer: I'm not a bigot. I'm bisexual myself. In case you've wondered, it's a ritualistic question, not an… [cont.]

A. Since there is no separate ceremony, for gay marriage. Your on your own. I would have no problem, with a ceremony, with out Thor's hammer. But, marriage between men, was unheard of back then. For the most part, marriage between the same sex. Is, only a 20th century thing. So there is no help, from the lore. The reasons, for marriage, is not the same either. Since now a days, we marry for love. I see no reason why to men or women, can't marry for love to. So just do the ceremony, with only the small change of not doing the fertility parts. You do not have to reinvent the rite, just change it a little.

A. If your as highly educated as you say then you know that you should probably be out there doing something about it instead of sitting behind your computer.

How can I find help to deport my wife for using me for papers?
Q. I meet an African woman on plentyoffish dating site and we started seeing each other for a year and I feel in love with her so I figure I found true love like a fool and got married to her. As soon after we married that moment she started acting up and being mean to me the same day, I mean it was like a flick of a lite switch turn around attitude. A few weeks later she moved in with her sister and abandon me. I been trying to talk to her but she don't wanna hear it. With all this I feel like she used me for papers to be a citizen in the U.S. but I never sign anything yet, she paid for everything and all we have is a marriage certificate. The good news is I found out where she is staying and also found out her sister is an immigrant too so… [cont.]

A. This is marriage fraud. Your first step is to call the ice tipline, you can find the number by going to www.ice.gov and what the technician needs will be her exact name and exact address she at right now. Then get facts like when were you married, if you did, when did you divorce? did she get her green card did you live together before the marriage. Helpful information, get her DOB, country of birth, does she have a phone number she can be contacted at now? Do you know her alien registration number or the receipt number of her green card? when did you realize she was just using you for the green card? was she trying to get a green card before she married? You also want to call CIS and report her and see if anything can be done to… [cont.]
